Katelyn is a Registered Psychologist with over 25 years of experience in diagnosing and treating mental health concerns. She completed her Ph.D. in Developmental Psychology at Queen’s University in 1993. Since then she has worked in a variety of settings including addiction treatment, school-based mental health promotion, early childhood development and autism.
Since 2008, Katelyn has worked with autistic teens and adults at the Sinneave Family Foundation and has developed a number of programs that support the transition to successful adult living. In addition to providing autism diagnosis, she is certified to provide a wide-variety of mental health interventions for adolescents and adults, including Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy.
Dr. Lowe is the Chief Strategy Officer at the Sinneave Family Foundation and an Adjunct Professor in the Department of Pediatrics at the University of Calgary. In her private practice Katelyn focuses her clinical skills on helping clients and their families to build healthy minds, healthy relationships and healthy lives.
Dr. Lowe volunteers as Board Member for Special Olympics Calgary.
